Fundraising Tip - Use your car park

If you are in a high traffic area, your spare car parking space may be one of your most valuable assets. Be it for a nearby sporting match or you are simply located in a parking ‘sweet spot’, you can rent out your space for some valuable extra fundraising.
There are providers to whom you can outsource the selling of your spare car parking space – Parkshare is one who specialise in this area.
An alternative idea is to approach a business located near a major sporting match with ample car parking space. Ask them to donate their carpark for your cause, and then get a small team to man the car park. Make a large sign and get ready to direct traffic! Depending on foot traffic, you might also consider running a sausage sizzle at the same time.
