Gift Wrapping

Gift wrapping at Christmas time in a local shopping centre can earn valuable dollars for your community organisation. Most shopping centres will donate an area if it is for charity – you may need to provide your own tables. Frazzled Christmas shoppers will be happy to make gold coin donations for one less task.
It is recommended that volunteers be trained ahead of their gift-wrapping shift to artfully yet quickly wrap items, complete with ribbons and bows.
Keep costs down buying giftwrap in bulk or use butchers’ paper sprayed with paint. Floristry wholesalers carry a huge selection of ribbons.
Consider assigning senior students to a gift wrap stall ahead of Mother’s Day.
